Crash!

I was doing laundry yesterday and when I grabbed the fabric softener, I knocked over a full jar of honey (the washer is in the kitchen). Needless to say, it shattered. I just stood there looking at it with horror thinking I didn't even know where to start. What made it even better was knowing we had been under attack by every ant within 50 miles.

I'm pretty sure the ants interpreted it as a manna from heaven. "Hooray", their little voices squealed. "It's family reunion time!"

The dogs wanted to get in on the action too but they were willing to abide by my "NO!" declaration.

After an hour of wiping, and mopping, and wiping, and mopping, it was as good as it would get.

Next time we are buying honey in a cute PLASTIC bear.

I do feel sorry for you! Especially with those ants honing in. (By the way: honing is the Dutch word for honey, it wasn't intentional)

You made me laugh AND I learned something! A good way to start a day.

Cute little plastic bears are the only way to go. That clean up must have been a drag.
