Last night was our Christmas festival. Train rides for the kids, free cookies, chili, popcorn, and hot chocolate.
The lighting of the Christmas tree in front of the courthouse (YES, it is called a CHRISTMAS TREE!), and an auction of donated items to raise money to buy gifts for the children in the county.
The finale of the evening was a parade complete with Santa Clause (which I wimped out on because A) Santa never listens to me and B) it was too doggone cold!). A Christmas celebration enjoyed by all.
Today it snowed. Go figure.

Of course, Blaine (Chamber of Commerce) promised snow for the celebration. Little did he know how accurate his prediction would be; just a few hours later :-)
Where's my sweater, mom???
You call that snow?
:)
We try!
