Fuchsia

is my youngest daughter. She has severely curly hair (which is not pink now but blueish. Mine too) which she keeps lopped off somewhere near her shoulders. It was time for both of us to get haircuts so we went to a local salon for one of those mother-daughter experiences. The blue hair kinda' threw them for a loop, but at least they could tell we were related.

Anyway, while they were drying hers, they asked if she wanted it straight. In all of her 27 years, she has never had straight hair. She said sure.

As you can imagine, it took quite a bit of effort to get it smooth. She looked completely different.

The next day, when I came downstairs, it was still straight. She told me, "I even brushed it when I got up. Just cause I could."

There you go.

She is also a fan of the absolutely oddest movies ever made. The other night while she was working (she is basically a night time chat site monitor) I asked what she was watching (they are always very noisy). She told me.

Sharktopus
.

Of course she was. I must have missed that one at the Academy Awards.

I thought I was lost... did you change your template recently? I've never seen Sharktopus too! Is there really such a movie? Sounds violently exciting :-).

I did change the template. And apparently Sharktopus was originally made for tv. Imagine that!
