Stylin'

Apparently Dobermans are weenies when it comes to cold weather. Well, Cruella anyway. When the temperature drops to the 20's and below, she shivers. Inside the house and outside. All the time.

She listens for the click of the heater (when she is upstairs) and when she hears it, she stands directly in front of it. Her collar gets so warm I am scared her neck will burst into flames yet she still hovers directly over it.

Tonight I couldn't take it anymore. Most of her heat loss seems to be from her feet so, voila, presto fixo!

She still loves the heater but at least she is not shivering now!

We had mercy on our two Jack Russells this morning, too. They are normally outside during the day, but since it is 30 outside right now, we decided to let them in for a while. :)

I love how she just lets you do whatever you want to her.

Regular socks. But right now she has her pads pasted to the heater!

AH ha ha! That's adorable.

Maybe a little fuzzy hat to go with her slipper socks? :)

She needs a sweater but she is so big it's hard to find one. I tried a long sleeve shirt today but it didn't work out too well.

Bassman is, uh how to put this, a rather THIN kind of guy (think the Emperor in Star Wars). Who needs everything he can get to keep the cold off his body.
And unfortunately I don't seem to have any flannel of my own. But with the sales now, I might be able to purchase her one of her very own!
