Today. APRIL 29th. Colorado is fast losing its designation as a Paradise. Have they never heard of spring?
Bassman and I were supposed to head to Idaho this weekend for a gig (something both of us had been looking forward to) but the gig was canceled due to a major snowstorm. So my dreams of seeing Idaho while out here have been canceled.
The good news is that Fuchsia and I will be heading back to Kentucky (who totally knows what spring is!) by the middle of May with Bassman to follow sometime in June. It's beautiful out here but it isn't home.

Our spring is just about to end! We've had two weeks of glorious weather, but as of tomorrow the temperatures will drop.
I hope you will be able to see Idaho sometime soon (I trust it's beautiful, I've never been there)
I was there when I was 12. 41 years ago. I'm thinking it has probably changed a little bit!
Yeaaaa! I've never actually LIVED out west, but I did spend some time in Idaho, and I know that anyone from Kentucky would be so, SO relieved to be back there after a winter out there in the west. I'm really happy for you. (And happy that you'll get in on at least the tail end of spring, anyway!)
Thank you.
We had snow the other day, too. It's all melted away again though now. Fickle weather patterns all over the US. Well, except for southern California. Same warm pleasant weather everyday, I hear. Bums.
I bet your horses will be happy to see you!
Oh and I will be so happy to see them!
