I am reading this book this week. It's kind of an All Creatures Great and Small except it is about a doctor (not a vet) and it is set in the 70's and not the era of whenever old All Creatures was. And, of course, it is also in another country. So yeah, almost exactly the same.
I must confess I am only 95 pages into it so there will be no forthcoming reviews in this post. Maybe never even. What I will tell you is that this book has the BEST description of a troublemaker I have ever read.
